At some point while riding you will get a flat tire. There is nothing worse than getting a flat tire in the middle of a trail and having to carry your bike for miles back to the car or bus station. A great way to make sure you avoid flat tires is going tubeless. A bike tube is a rubber wall that lines the inside of the tire and the tire rim. If it gets punctured then your tire will go flat. However going tubeless would solve this and the tire can be punctured multiple times and not go flat. Going tubeless is removing the inside lining of the tire and pouring 1 cup of sealant inside the tire. If the tire is punctured then the sealant will quickly seal the hole before the tire runs out of air and you can keep riding without stopping to make repairs. You will be reduce the weight of the bike by 2 kilograms and won't have to carry all the extra gear needed to repair a flat tire by going tubeless. It truly is the best way to ride your bike on trails. Especially in the central part of the U.S. and deserts.
